Joystick mapping - MSFS on Windows 11

I'm not having any trouble with FSUIP7. It launches MSFS 2020 on PC ( via Steam) and the ACARS program for my virtual airline works with it.  But I was told it would allow better joystick mapping than what I've done inside MSFS ( which recognized my Logitech 3D Pro ).  Is the enhanced mapping something for the future/ in development?  If there are "additional tabs" that should  show up somewhere, I'm not seeing them.

Assignment facilities are only available in registered versions of FSUIPC7. There is a trial license available in a sticky post at the top of this sub-forum if you would like to try.

My copy is registered and paid for.  I was going to say it appears that in the batch file that launches msfs, FSUIPC7 is not launched. ( commented out)    But then I noticed that after MSFS loads, the icon and options show up in the system tray. Somehow I missed that.

:: wait for MSFS to start (2mins)
::timeout /t %delay% /nobreak > NUL

:: start FSUIPC7
::start "" "D:\Utilities\FSUIPC\FSUIPC7.exe"

Yes, this was the old method of starting FSUIPC7, in very early releases before the EXE.xml functionality was introduced.

Where is the documentation on all of those features?

Under your windows Documents folder, in a sub-folder called FSUIPC7. The install locations are documented in the Installing and Registering FSUIPC7.pdf, which is included in the FSUIPC7 zip file you downloaded (and also in the FSUIPC7 Documents folder). Please read this document first. There should also be a link to the FSUIPC7 Documents folder under your FSUIPC7 installation folder.
