Aerosoft CRJ FCP Altitude Honeycomb Bravo

Hello,

with the Aerosoft CRJ in MSFS2020 it isn't possible to change the altitude in the FCP with the honeycomb bravo. One can change IAS, V/S, heading and course but not the altitude. But is it possible with fsuipc and Lvars to program this? The autopilot panel on the bravo has a left rotating knob for selecting altitude, heading etc. and a right rotating knob for changing the value. So it must be a combination of 2 commands: checking the left knob that it points to altitude and turning the right knob to change the altitude (with ASCRJ FCP Alt Sel dec/inc). According to Aerosoft this isn't possible with fsuipc (one must use spad or axis and oohs), but is it really so? Is there a solution with fsuipc?

This can be done using compound button conditions - see the Advanced User guide.

I don't know why they would say that - do you have a link to this so that I can comment?

I posted on how to set-up the bravo for this with standard FS controls (not using the more complex lvar/hvar.calc code or presets that you will need to use for the CRJ). You can take a look at this and then adapt (i.e. set up a CRJ profile and adjust the controls used for this aircraft) - see

Check the MobiFlight Hub Hop preset list (https://hubhop.mobiflight.com/) for the presets to use for the CRJ.

Thank you John......it works perfect with the use of compound button conditions.

After searching the Aerosoft forum again I have to admit that I was wrong, saying that Aerosoft has negated the use of fsuipc for compounds/Lvars. It was a user who said this and it was a threat from March 2021. I think at that time fsuipc was in fact not capable in using Lvars.
