ke7zum Posted August 23, 2022 Report Posted August 23, 2022 Hello there you all. I’m having a very strange issue. I bought LTFM for prepar3dv4.5 from the following sim market link. https://secure.simmarket.com/scenerytr-stanbul-airport-ltfm.phtml I installed the scenery fine, enabled it in prepar3dv4.5, yet I don’t see it in first officer pro or in make runways database. I can spawn to a gate at LTFM via the sim airports dialogue, however none of my add ons are picking up runways, except my PMDG 737 NGXU. I’ve tried uninstalling the scenery and reinstalling it with no luck. I’ve tried rebooting, disabling and reenabling the add on, however it still is not working. How can I make this airport appear when running make runways and so my fsuipc version 6 plugin can communicate this to my add ons which use FSUIPC. Thanks.
John Dowson Posted August 24, 2022 Report Posted August 24, 2022 Are you using the LorbySceneryExport program? Scenery installs abiding by the new L-M system for addons will NOT be seen by MakeRunways unless you use this program. Please see the provided MakeRwys README.pdf section on how to use this utility for P3Dv3,4 and 5. Also please check that you are using the latest version of MakeRwys, v5.13. If that doesn't resolve your issue you can post again and @Pete Dowson may take a look. John
ke7zum Posted August 26, 2022 Author Report Posted August 26, 2022 I am not using any add ons to install scenery. just the scenery's installer, which is how I've always done it. I am using the latest make runways file as of February 2022. When I look in the cfg, ltfm is not there, yet my plane will see it, and so will my sim, however my add ons I use such as fsfo and others that use FSUIPC will not. One update I use f for the blind shows 0 items in database, which means it didn't get compiled into make runways.
ke7zum Posted August 26, 2022 Author Report Posted August 26, 2022 Ok, we fixed it! that was it. I guess I forgot I did this sometime in 2019? Yeah! I got you, you little bugger! lol! I didn't even think of this. I might take a look at their tools anyway in case I need them.
