Breenild Posted September 2, 2022 Report Posted September 2, 2022 I always have problems setting up the tiller! I have pedals, which are linked to the sim's rudder. I don't have any dedicated tiller controller. When I don't link the Tiller axis to my pedals, then I can't do steep turns with all my aircrafts. When I DO link the Tiller (additionally to the rudder) to the pedals I can do steep turns, but also the nosewheel has way to much control during takeoff run and I struggle to keep my plane on Centerline. My idea: would it maybe be possible to create a special-tiller-axis, which I can assign to my pedals and which sends the input to the tiller only, while the plane is below 20knots? I think this would be a good compromise
John Dowson Posted September 2, 2022 Report Posted September 2, 2022 Please see the description of how FSUIPC's tiller/rudder blending works in the box on page 30 of the FSUIPC7 User guide. Also see the ini parameters MaxSteerSpeed in the Advanced User guide (P9). Maybe try with MaxSteerSpeed=Q20,30,0,60 With that,, you would have 0% rudder up to 20 knots, linear increasing to 10% from 20-30 knots, then linear increasing to to 100% from 30-60knots. Adjust as needed. John, 1
