Adding Saitek Trim Wheel

Hi, I am trying to add my Saitek trim wheel into FSUIPC but there is no movement detected on the FSUIPC detection screen.

I checked some previous posts and it says to check that you are not using any saitek drivers etc..

When I look at my trim wheel under Windows >Devices & Printers, the driver is Microsoft 10.0.19041.868, although if I click on the driver details it says "HID-compliant game controller - no driver files are  required or have been loaded for this device".

The trim wheel works ok when configured directly through MSFS controls, so I am not quite sure why FSUIPC cannot see it.

Any ideas please?

Can you please attach your FSUIPC7.ini and FSUIPC7.log files and I will take a look.

Do you see anything registered in that window (i.e. joystick number or letter and axis letter)? If so, please let me know what is registered.

I thought I would have one more try, so I started FSUIPC before MSFS and then it could detect the trim wheel. I

That is strange...it shouldn't matter whether FSUIPC is started before MSFS, auto-started by MSFS, or manually started after MSFS has started.
Could you maybe check this again (i.e. use auto-start) to see if you get the same issue.

Thanks,

John
