Throttle axis influence when unassigned

Hello,

First of all thank you for your wonderful product, can't imagine using the simulator for more than a decade without it.

I'm running into a very specific problem. I am implementing some improvements for the default DC-3, and I found a neat way to manipulate the throttle, by adding an additional layer over the throttle events. This works fine with the sim controls, but if I have FSUIPC running my additional throttle layer gets bypassed even if the throttle lever is unassigned, it still has an effect on how the throttle axis gets interpreted by the sim. Is there a way to tell FSUIPC to completely ignore the throttle(throttle lever position)?

FSUIPC7 shouldn't do anything unless you tell it to... If you don't have your throttle assigned, it may still be calibrated, which would interfere. Try removing the calibration. If you are using profiles (which you should be doing...), make sure that your calibration is profile specific for the DC-3. Then remove any throttle calibration for the DC-3 profile using the Reset button - do this for Throttle as well as Throttle1/2/3/4.

If you still get issues, please show me/attach your FSUIPC7.ini file.

Thank you very much for a prompt answer! I did first try with just making a blank new profile from the one that I was using before, to see if that would change it, but I did not specifically reset any throttle calibrations that might come with a blank profile.

Let me try your advice with resetting the throttle axes manually.

Thanks,

Matt
