MSFS 2020 Not loading proper plane profile in FSUIPC7

Greetings,

 

I have paid version FSUIPC7 for MSFS 2020.

I fly 2 add on planes the Aerosoft crj7 and PMDG B738 so I only have

2 profile ini files in the profile folder.

My problem is that when I load the CRJ all is good but if I load the

PMDG B738 FSUIPC7 loads the CRJ profile and the "Profile Specific" box is checked and

greyed out so I can not change anything.

The only way I have been able to work around this is remove 

[Profile.CRJ 700]
1=CRJ700ER American Eagle N508AE
2=Mountain Air

from the main FSUIPC ini file and load the PMDG B738

I have deleted the fsuipc.ini main file and rebuilt it after a restart and setup my

planes all over but get the same result when I try to load something other than the CRJ7

 

I would appreciate any suggestions or help to correct this problem. Thank you

I can't see how the CRJ profile can be loaded when you are using the PMDG B728.

Could you please attach your FSUIPC7.ini and FSUIPC7.log file, the latter generated when you experience your issue, i.e. with the PMDG aircraft loaded and the CRJ profile selected 9please exit FSUIPC7 before attaching the files).

Does this also happen if the PMDG us the first aircraft loaded or only when you switch aircraft?, i.e. if you exit MSFS / FSUIPC with the PMDG aircraft loaded and then restart, is the CRJ profile also then loaded?

Thank you for the quick sresponse.

This morning my PMDG was the first aircraft that I loaded up in MSFS 2020 and I took a

screen shot of the FSUIPC interface that shows the CRJ7 as the plane and with the "profile specific" selected and greyed out.

I am also attaching the ini and log files as you requested.

Looking at your CRJ 7-- profile:

Quote

[Profile.CRJ 700]
1=CRJ700ER American Eagle N508AE
2=Mountain Air

The PMDG aircraft is called

Quote

62485 Aircraft="PMDG 737-800 Mountain Air_BW"

and so matches your CRJ profile. Change yout CRJ 700 profile section  to:

Quote

[Profile.CRJ 700]
1=CRJ700ER

You should also change your PMDG B738 profile section to:

Quote

[Profile.PMDG B738]
1=PMDG 737-800 

i.e. use substrings to match more variants rather than the full aircraft name (including variant).
