fsuipc and sioc

I thought I posted this question yesterday but I can't find it today.  I'm using fsuipc7 with msfs.  I'm using Prosim737 and I made a yoke with a hat switch and 8 other switches.  I'm trying to use the open cockpits usb-keys matrix board and I want to use fsuipc to assign the inputs.  I wrote a script and compiled it but I can't figure out how to get fsuipc to recognize it.

What type of script? What do you expect FSUIPC to do with this? Is it a lua script? The only scripts FSUIPC recognises and can do anything with are lua scripts.

I create a text file (see example) and compile it into .ssi file and sioc responds to the inputs/outputs using fsuipc offsets.  I asked OpenCockpits "Is there a way to get fsuipc to recognize switches connected to the usbkeys card? "

This was there response:  "Thank you for your email. SIOC (the Opencockpits cards/modules driver) is fully compatible with FSUIPC. In the product page you can download the card manual https://www.opencockpits.com/catalog/tarjeta-usbkeys-p-51.html?language=en and follow the examples to write a code copatible with FSUIPC."

I did that but they didn't really answer my question.  That's usually the case with them.  I'm using Simconnect rather than fsuipc in the Prosim737 configuration, maybe that's why fsuipc isn't recognizing the inputs.

Ok, but I don't know much about SIOC (never used it), and nothing about .ssi files. They are certainly not anything that FSUIPC would recognise - I suspect they are specific to SIOC. And yes, it is my understanding thar SIOC uses FSUIPC offsets. With such cards, you would usually assign in SIOC to FSUIPC offsets.

FSUIPC only recognises HID joystick type cintrollers natively, and you can maybe use lua for other non-joystick type HID conytollers. This is not related to the flight model you are using or how that is configured.

There have already been several support requests in using usbkey cards with FSUIPC. Check these posts to see if they help - search this forum for usbkeys.
