bobsk8 Posted November 2 Report Posted November 2 I just downloaded and installed version 7.4.18 into MSFS 2020 two days ago. Since then, the program has quit about 5 times. I use it to communicate with Flight SIm First Officer and all of a sudden that program stops working. I found out , that FSUIPC had quit working, and I had to restart it. This happened three times today, and I finally went to my backup drive and copied the previous version and and with the previous version, everything is stable. Only thing is I keep getting a message when I start FSUIPC that it needs an update.

I have realized that I made a mistake with the 7.4.18 release...I have been testing the SDK for MSFS2024 and accidentally built the final release of 7.4.18 with the SDK from this version, instead of the version for MSFS2020. Sorry about that - I have corrected this now and have updated the installers with this correct build. Could you therefore please re-download and try again. if you get the same issue, please show me / attach your FSUIPC7.log file. Note that I have kept the version number the same, at 7.4.18, but the build date has been updated to 3rd November, so please check thar you are using this version (you may need to clear your browser cache to download this version. I have also attached this version below, but you should really re-install as the WASM has also been rebuilt. 10 hours ago, bobsk8 said: Only thing is I keep getting a message when I start FSUIPC that it needs an update. You can prevent this by setting the following ini parameter under the [General] section of your FSUIPC7.ini file: OpenOnStart=Never John FSUIPC7.exe 2
bobsk8 Posted November 3 Author Report Posted November 3 I inst alled the updated version, and did a couple of flights, and all is well. Thanks.
in_04 Posted November 9 Report Posted November 9 I had same problem than bobsk8, will check the new exe and hope problem is fixed. Was annoying to lose the Joystick in flight 🙂
