FSV1142 Posted March 5 Report Posted March 5 Hello. Just installed P3Dv4.5 and FSUIPC6 on my new PC and having loads of fun😓 P3D and FSUIPC installed ok, but every time I load into P3D and the aircraft that I've mapped my controls for I have to remap again, also I may be wrong, but I believe Track IR uses FSUIPC to interface with flight sim. Track IR is vary jumpy not smooth. I didn't have these issues with my old PC at all. both my new PC and old one are Windows 10 Pro same operating systems, but it seams to center around FSUIPC. I've tried FSUIPC 5 and FSUIPC 6 and it the same thing. I'm not sure if there's a .NET framework I have not installed or maybe windows security issues going on.  Thank you for the help.
Paul Henty Posted March 5 Report Posted March 5 You'll need to repost your question in the main FSUIPC support forum where John can answer. Here: https://forum.simflight.com/ This is a forum for .NET programming. Paul

When you create or add an aircraft to a profile, the full name/title is used, which can include the livery name and tail number. So if you load a different variant, it doesn't match the previous name and you have to add it again. Yo resolve this, you should always edit the ini file and shorten the aircraft name used in the [Profile.xxx] section to the shortest string that matches all the variants for that aircraft. See the documentation for further details. If that is not the issue, then please attach your FSUIPC6.log and FSUIPC6.ini files the next time this occurs (and please exit P3D/FSUIPC before attaching files). @Paul Henty I don't check your forum often, so if you see a post there that should be in one of the other support forums you could tag me when you respond to the OP and I can move the post to the correct place.
