Reco Posted June 6 Report Posted June 6 Hi I have downloaded the now free dodosim bell 206. As I start to set up the cyclic, pedals and collective controls it seems that choosing :send to FS as normal axis and select the axis aileron, axis elevator and axis pedals is the way to go, at least for this aircraft. If I used the option to: send direct to fsuipc calibration and select aileron elevator and pedals the elevator at least doesn't respond like it should. My other helicopters I have in my hanger are set up via the send direct to fsuipc calibration. So my question is, should I set all my other helicopters to : send to FS as normal.axis. And is there any advantages or disadvantages to doing so Regards Rhys

Only use Send to FS as normal axis if sending to calibration causes issues or doesn't work, which can happen with some aircraft. Note that, by default, axes assigned using Send to FS as normal axis are still calibrated in FSUIPC (if a calibration section exists), but this is performed after the event has been received back from the FS (which is masked/blocked). Reco Posted June 6 Author Report Posted June 6 Hi John, thank you. Looked at my setup this morning and changed my assignments for the dodosim 206 to send direct to fsuipc calibration. Everything is working as it should now. once again thank you Rhys
