jdriskell Posted 14 hours ago Report Posted 14 hours ago I'm using MSFS2024 and flying the PMDG 777 series. I control everything with FSUIPC and generally don't have any problems. Last two flights, one going into KORD and the other going into EHAM, the auto-throttle speed dropped off until a low speed warning occurred. It's been my practice to reduce the levers of my throttle quad to the idle position when the descent starts and allow the auto-throttle to control the power. Each time the speed dropped to about 170K when the system wanted 240-220K. Goosing the throttle levers seems to wake the system up and then the auto-throttle corrects the power and speed. However in the case that occurred at KORD, the auto-throttle got over anxious and caused an over speed condition. This problem seems to occur with the 200ER variant. The F and 300ER variants don't exhibit this behavior. What could be influencing the aircraft system to ignore the FSUIPC calibrated throttles.
