  1. Hi. I am a little slow in these things, I cannot find the link to get your work Mort. I have looked in the Downloads section, but am not having much luck. Can you advise me? Thanks. The Archer really looks great. Well done and thanks.

He has not uploaded it yet (as far as I know) and I have not moved it to the Emma Field Download page (which is still sorta inofficial  )

I'll post a new message when it is available !

    Francois

  2. There's another one. Try Samedan. It's tough in the default mesh, with addon mesh it's next to impossible.

The entire airport seems to have been moved in order to make it fit in the valley for the default mesh (which is less dense of course), making it sit in a hole in the mountainside in addon mesh :-)

I've been at the real Samedan a few times.... MS placed it at the wrong side of the valley unfortunately.... the highway is on the wrong side too !

  3. As Requested !

I know the red and blue stripes are really a Cessna thing but I thought I'd make it match Joe's excellent 177 template, at least for my first attempt. I'll upload the template if someone can contact me and let me know where to put it. As with Joe's template it has seperate layers for the stripes, tail number/registration and logo. For those of you who dont need individual tail numbers I can produce a merged file which is a fraction of the size of the template file.

    P.S. I couldn't resist the obvious UK registration, as it spells a friend's name ! I believe the 'real' G-EMMA is a Cessna 182.

FTP data in your mail :)

  4. You should have received (at the very minimum) an automated reply thanking you for signing on.... and I have replied many people personally.. and Terry would have sent a reply as well.

So if you have not seen any of this.. then I would suggest to try again. (I don't see your name on the list here yet !)

    Kind regards,

    Francois

  5. Joe Watson, also well-known for his Alaskan scenery, has provided a number of members with a customized airplane already.

He has now made the template available for all to use and after a long day of trial and error we have managed to get it uploaded to a place where you can all get it from.

There is also a zip file with the Emma Field logo to stick on your tail !!

Be ware !!! It is a 12 Mb download...... ! And you will have to know how to use Paintshop Pro or another paint program that can handle .psp files and layers.

You also need a copy of the Dreamfleet Cardinal 177, one of the best payware aircraft around at this time.

After downloading, you will need to work with the template as described in the accompanyig file... change your tail logo and aircraft registration number to reflect the personal Emma Field Club Number you received.

On behalf of all the Cardianl flyers at Emma Field: THANK YOU JOE !! :D :D

    Download the files from here:

Have fun painting all !!

  6. Great finds Joe.. some awesome pictures on those sites !!

I like to fly to Skagway as well.. was one of my first forrays into Alaska when FS2000 appeared actually.

We can fly around FS2002 for the next 50 years or so and still be amazed.... :D

  7. Yep. Unfortunately I sent a copy to all 'major' sites, with the wrong address in it. Even more unfortunately it appears that simFlight is usually the quickest with news and reactions to it...

Getting things to change is not so easy....... But registratons are coming in at a steady pace, so people seem to have found us anyway !! :D

  8. At long last, some of the wait is over !! Registration for the Brand Spanking New Emma Field Flying Club is now open !! Even though our website unfortunately is not ready for publication yet, we've decided it is time to open our gates for registrations. This means you can write to the EFFC administrator with your name, email address and country of origin. Don't worry about user-id's or anything for now.

Send your membership application to memberadmin@emmafield.simflight.com and we'll put your name in the EFFC Register.

For more news, questions and further annoucnements, please check out the Emma Field Forum, which you can find here. This will be the main meeting place for club members. We will of course let you know when the website goes 'live', and where to find it.

Meanwhile, the Grand Opening of the club is planned for February 1st, and we will organize an interesting event for members that day. Stay tuned folks !!
