Like many simmers, we're all happy with the release of the 40th Anniversary edition of Microsoft Flight Simulator, thanks to the new aircraft and with the Sim Update 11 enhancements as well.
The other good news is that FlightControlReplay 5 is also directly compatible with your updated version of MSFS.
There is one downside though : your new helicopters are not permitted for use with the LiveGhost feature, and in PlayAI mode. The way they are coded does not allow me to do it for now. But, if you are a lucky owner of the HPG 145 for example, that's not a default helicopter, this one works OK to create your replays or to enjoy a flying companion.
Various Youtubers already introduced the MSFS 40th Anniversary content, and .. they recorded their videos with my software. Watch these :

Hello. No, I'm sorry but it's limited to P3D v5. It was already confirmed on the product page iin the requirements section. This area is useful when you want to check if your product in target is compatible or not with your current flight simulator version.

Hi Peter ! You need run FCR external app and give it permission (if requested) to use network . Please remember to run as admin .... otherwise tomorrow morning (CEST time) we can have a teamviewer

If you want more FPS you can set che FPS you want chieve in FCR Options and try to run with new FPS value 😉
For the second question i ll deep investigate

I advice you to record (if you have this issue) at 90 FPS per second, configuring in FCR Option dialog 😉

Yes for Fenix and PMDG you ll have Spoilers, Reverse, Ailerons, Elevator, Rudder , Gears, Flaps for both and you can use Live Ghost Features as well. I ll have some more enhancements for the next (free because minor version) Updates of FCR.

Hi ! For addon aircraft if you have problem on reply i advise always to record your flight , go to main menu , make a new flight , place yourself in a runway and load replay and play . This procedure ONLY if obviously have problem replay a flight in the same session when you recorded the same flight .

When you load a replay you need have pmdg reset by his system (pmdg always advice to not use for example restart flight but go to main menu and after restart from here ) . When you load in a clean situation pmdg will playing in the right way . Anyway if you want send me via email your .fcr and I ll let you know

This is not an Error , it is only a warning from codec , if you click ok rendering will start in a normal way

@dante11 : Replay with continuous loop is now applied by default in FlightControlReplay 5. It's not among the options anymore. Thanks for the comment.

The changes in FlightControlReplay 5 start from the beginning : first step, the software installer.
It's now much much easier for any MSFS user : just run the main EXE installer.
- the DirectX checks are automatilly made during setup
- codec x2264vfw install will be prompted and automatically run if not already installed and detected on your computer. It's required to render the MP4 videos.
This is all done in a single process.
In the Options of FlightControlReplay, you can activate the automatic addition to MSFS toolbar.
And you're done.Second step : the User Manual. It's being edited at this time, and it is a new edition as well. It starts with an introduction to the new User Interface. Tnen, it takes you for a tutorial to complete your first quick Replay step by step from the simulator connexion to the review of your last flight so you can enjoy your new tool FlightControlReplay 5 right out of the box.

It's one of the brand new feature to come with FCR 5. It is the generation of a ghost aircraft beside yours in Live flight. It’s not just a virtual aircraft that you create and it follows the same path as yours and it flies beside you. It’s more like a duet pilot because you will see him flying with slight differences in his position compared to your flight path, since he’s impacted by the weather conditions, the strong winds. So you will observe your formation flying companion trying to maintain its position, distance and speed like your aircraft. You can customize that position and the distance. Just like in movies of formation flying filmed from a cockpit view, the positions between pilots are not that stiff. I achieved to reproduce that lifelike behaviour of the ghost aircraft.
FlightControlReplay enters in Beta stage. Our Beta test team is running the first round of flight sessions to stress the software in various conditions.

Hi Frank !
You need Record a flight during the use of VR .
When you recorded this , put off your VR, load Replay in FCR and start VideoRendering . After that , when you see the VideoRendering green button in command bar , click on play .
