  1. Hello, I am trying to assign 2 actions to buttons of my throttle using the technique explained in the Advanced Manual (Format of buttons definition). I am not a developer and all these things are not familiar to me. I want to assign the TAB key to a button and the ENTER key to another one. After some studies, I wrote the following statements in the FSUIPC5.ini file but expected actions are not occurring: 16=P7,13,K,4 -{Shifts: TAB}- As there is no Key press, I have left K with no data... Is that correct? 20=P7,14,K13,8 -{Key press: ENTER }- This one looks correct regarding the syntax but it does something else (full throttle...) The statements in {...} are entered manually by me. Can someone help me fixing this? Thanks Bruno
  2. Hello, I am flying Metal2Mesh M2000 on P3Dv4.5. I would like to be able to change the radar scale of my radar. Ranges are preset to 10/20/40/60. A button UP and a button DOWN would be lovely on my X55 controller throttle. Which command can do the job in the list of existing ones? If not, how to proceed? Thanks in advance Bruno
  3. As final confirmation and after few flights, everything is fine now with my throttle, including the Windows calibration that is now also available... thanks John again. cheers Bruno
  4. Hello John, I think that you made my day 🙂 After editing the .log file with your proposed text, all seems to be fine now. Event the calibration through W10 is now possible, both calibration panels are available... I just mad a quick flight to validate m settings and everything is good. I will keep the system under observation for some time. I will shut down computer and wake it up this afternoon to see if everything is solid. Will keep you advised. Thanks again for your assistance Best regards Bruno
  5. Hello, Yes, files after id changes. Done as I get used to 🙂 Yes I found some entries after typing SAITEK. See attached file {Entries SAITEK.png}. Entries deleted. Rebbot done and new search in Registry... but with search criteria VID_0738. I used this criteria because I saw the format during the first search. And then I found some other entries {Entries VID_0738.png}. But I CANNOT delete these entries. {Message Entries.png} Done in sequence. Noticed that my Stick is not detected and the throttle controller is linked to the aircraft joystick axis. I was using USB 3 but this time files are related to controllers connected to USB2 FSUIPC5.log FSUIPC5.ini FSUIPC5.JoyScan.csv
  6. Good morning John, I was asleep when you replied, therefore I did not anything else than the above checklist. When I click here, I reach a page from Air Group 52 within which there is no link to download the software... But I could find something with the same name here, expecting that is is the same. I ran the program and swapped ID2 to ID1. The result in P3D is that none of the controllers reacts... FSUIPC5.log FSUIPC5.ini FSUIPC5.JoyScan.csv
  7. I forgot to answer this... I have no driver installed and no Saitek program installed... The only third-party running with P3D is EZCA v3 Not since I shut down P3D this morning.
  8. After doing in sequence: Unplugged the controllers Run removeX55.reg Launch P3D/FSUIPC. At this stage, there was a problem with the stick being assigned the throttle command (same as above) and my throttle controller not being detected. Shutdown P3D and changing AutoAssignLetters to Yes Relaunched P3D (situation of controllers still the same as above) Shut down P3D and attached are the 2 files. FSUIPC5.ini FSUIPC5.log
  9. UNFORTUNATELY, I am back to the starting point... I just relaunched my sim for a flight but notice that my throttle does not react and my stick is moving the throttle on the Z axis. I therefore checked my .ini file that still shows assignments but the .log file shows the same warning have done nothing in between... And I don't understand why the file that I sent you this morning is already corrupted because the same warning is there... And the latest ones are attached. FSUIPC5.log
  10. Good morning, Exited by your latest posts, I spent some time this "my morning" to apply your proposed solutions: Disable the controller within P3D Sent direct to FSUIPC calibration Assign control to the controller Tick the box No Reverse Zone All is perfectly working... Then I have assigned all commands to the different axis and buttons and all work perfectly... I could not find the Course Bug command to assign to a button as per done for Heading. Even searching in the Advanced guide, mainly because I am not familiar with the naming. Will try to grab information in the web though forums. If necessary, i might open a new post to ask for assistance. I think that we can consider that my problem is resolved and I want to thank you very much for your patience while helping me. Much appreciated. Cheers Bruno FSUIPC5.log FSUIPC5.ini
  11. In setting, the calibration button is greyed, cannot access... 😞 Sorry, I am in China and it is late for me now, will continue my tomorrow... Thanks again for your help. Bruno
  12. I will do that tomorrow... and will get back to you again. Thanks for your efforts to assist me.
  13. That is the proble I was relating at the begining of my post. The throttle cannot be calibrated in Windows. See my attached screenshot.
  14. Hello Pete, I have only the throttles assigned because I want to be sure all is OK to enhance assignment. Nope, I have disabled the controls for the Throttles and kept the zoom and few other buttons assignments... Do you mean that I should remove any assignment from P3D? Before I could use the combination of both for the same controller and it was working...
  15. OOPS, I thought it is the title... 😞 Done and now both are recognized in FSUIPC 5. Thanks for solving this issue. But the other issue remains: the throttle reacts only at mid-course of the lever, and this for both levers. Please check my 2 videos. The first one is single engine (M2000C) and the second is a twin engine (DA42). I wish you may have a trick for that ? Sorry again to bother... Cheers EDIT: Sorry, I forgot to specify that the control in assigned from FSUIPC to P3D and that the calibration in FSUIPC was showing a normal motion of the lever.
  16. Done according to the check list... backup registry, unplug the devices, uninstall the drivers, reboot... Then using Notepad++, copied the text and saved as removeXrr.reg. When I double-click, and after the warning, I have this message... Thanks removeX55.reg
  17. Hi John, First of all, thanks for your help... I must admit that I am unable to retrieve the faulty entries in the registry, despite having searched on Internet... I will be happy to have some tricks... Would CCleaner or Registry Cleaner be helpful? Regards
  18. Hi John, Here are the files. FSUIPC5.ini FSUIPC5.log
  19. Hello, Strange situation for a couple of weeks now... My X55 throttle was working correctly until 2 weeks back. Since: I need to reach half of the power to see the engine 1 throttle reacting when the throttle 2 correctly behaves (Alphajet twin engine) The throttle is correctly detected in P3D and the calibration tool shows a proper motion of both levers The full controller X55 Throttle is not recognized in FSUIPC when the Stick controller is ! So I am unable to calibrate... Last detail that may be helpful, The controller also cannot be calibrated in Windows (see attached photo) as the Test tab is not presenting the calibration as it does for the stick. I suspect a corrupted file but I am unable to know which one. Can you help please? Thanks Bruno
  20. Hello, Strange issue... I own FSUIPC 5.157 registered version used in P3D v4.5. I own Saitek controllers X55 stick and throttle. I want to assign some command to my throttle buttons but none of them is recognized while I press them. The assignment of axis is not recognized. I checked if the connection is correct and the calibration of the throttle is OK for both engines. I also checked if button are recognized from the stick and all buttons are OK... Could you help me solving this? Thanks in advance Bruno
  21. Thanks for your quick reply. I confirm that the file was downloaded from the Schiratti "Dowson" page. I sent a mail to the 360 Total Security team and I'm waiting for an answer.
  22. Hi Pete I've just downloded both FSUIPC and WideFS to upgrade my system. But once I launched the install FSUIPC4.exe file, my virus scanner (360 Total Security) detected the folowing malware (HEUR/QVM18.1.Malware.Gen) and now I am forbidden to continue unless I move this file from the trusted zone. What also worries me is that Avast did not detect it... What is your advice? Thanks in advance Bruno
  23. Hi Pete, First of all, thanks for your answers. You're right, most of them are FS related and I'm sorry for that. I have updated to 4.929, and it is fine. 1. For the Parameter option, it became clear once you explained the Pushback 1 (left) and 2 (right). I tried and actually it reacts (but not really as I would...) 2. Without any action from my side, once FSX was reloaded today, degrees and speed were properly incremented with an appropriate value (< 10...) 3. Same 4. For the Course, OBI did the job. Sorry but it was not obvious for me . I did try so many possibilities (NAV etc... ) except OBI 5. For Pushback Left and Right, I did use the Key Press option referring to the keyboard, and that works fine... So again thanks for your extensive help...I need now to concentrate on the flaps, spoilers and throttles by following the "user Guide"... Best regards Bruno
  24. Hi, I am running a registered copy of version 4.90 . I am trying to program my FSX through FSUIPC. After downloading multiple tutorials and user guides, I could succeed in many assignements but I'm now facing some situation that I am unable to find an explanation for . 1. In Buttons and Switches, it is pretty clear except the role and "way to use" the Parameter option associated to a FS Control button. 2.. While assigning to my Thrustmaster MFD Cougar the control "Heading Bug Inc" and "Heading Bug Dec", the steps are by 10 degrees. How to adjust to 1 degree when [button pressed] and more when [repeat while held] ? 3. The same question raises for Altitude and Speed Inc / Dec ? 4. What is the control to assign the Course Inc/Dec function ? 5. For Pushback I could find the control. But I would like to assign the Left and Right Pushback as well... What is the control ? An additional question related to the flap control assignement: I strictly followed the guide to set the 7 detents of my E-175 Feelthere but when it runs, the flaps lever jumps from 1 to full and return to 4 and 5... Is there a reliable and accurate user guide explaining the adjustment "for Dummies" ? I know that all my questions may appear simple to you, but few days of Web investigation and multiple reading made me turning quite crazy... Merci in advance and congratulations for your work and your availability to assist guys like me. Bruno
