  1. Thanks for your help. I was asked if I considered using Autohotkey or SVmapper to map buttons 33-64 to keyboard commands"?. I don't think they realize FSUIPC can utilize keyboard commands. Larry
  2. Hello, I just wanted to share my experience here for some possible input. I have a home built flight simulator full cockpit with overhead panel that is currently being refitted with different usb interface boards. I discovered this particular USB interface board will not work to "FULL POTENTIAL" using FSUIPC and FSX (PMDG in my case): http://www.leobodnar.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=94&products_id=300 My original overheard panel used 5 of the "BBI-32" usb boards and they worked fine. The problem with this usb device (BBI-64) is that FSUIPC will only detect 32 of the 64 inputs. Note that FSUIPC is listed under "Product Downloads/ tab. If Pete knows how to remedy the issue that would be great. Otherwise I will have to stick with the 32 pin boards for flight sim use and lost quite a few usb ports. Dont forget windows usb port shortage errors! (maximum usb ports used) Here is what Leo Bodnar website replied to me about this problem: "If FSUIPC does not support more than 32 buttons then it will not work with BBI-64 that has 64 buttons." To verify the interface board works as it should, I used a program called PPjoy to test inputs. All 64 test good. But when using "Windows devices/properties"..... only 32 inputs will show. Maybe this is the problem. FSUIPC does not recognize all 64 inputs (maybe is does not look for that many) seems windows does the same thing. Hope this could be resolved and possibly help someone else. Larry
  3. Hi and thanks for the reply. Yes FSUIPC macros DO work with the PMDG 737, and in the 3D mode. Try it you will be pleasantly surprised. The MCP must be showing in the 2D mode to assign mouse macros, but work fine when flying in 3D mode. The macros even work the the "missing" TOGA switch (on and off states) on the MCP panel "blank spot". Not all of the switches, but MANY of them will work with mouse macros. You might be thinking of the older versions of FSUIPC....not sure. I reinstalled FSUIPC and everything works perfect now. I use mouse macros through FSUIPC and HIDmacros to use multiple keyboards/keypads. The overhead panel I built uses macros AND control codes from the PMDG SDK with no problems. The original issue seemed to be the video driver/windows update that caused all the problems in the first place. I choose to use macros in place of SDK control codes on certain switches (personal preference I guess). Hope this helps others.... Larry
  4. does anybody know if I need to reinstall FSUIPC? can I just save my macro files and copy them over? Any help from anyone would be nice.
  5. Hi, Forgot to mention I have not installed any PMDG updates or SP's but did have a problem with my nvidia geforce GTX 560 video drivers after the latest windows 7 update. Had to uninstall/install drivers serveral times only to go back to an older driver version. Not sure if this has anything to do with problem, but thought I would mention it. Thanks, Larry C
  6. Hi, I am having the same problem as Frank above..... I cannot get the green macro bo to appear anymore. I click "create mouse macro", go to cockpit, and click switches (ANY switch) but mothing happens (no green or red box appear anymore). This was working ok yesterday assingning keystrokes to the switches. I can assign events using PMDG numbers from the SDK but I would rather use macros for certain (less complicated) switches as this is easier (mouse macros). Even clicking on switches that I have already created a macro for, no macro box appears anymore??? I have tried to open the default 737 to see if its a PMDG 737 problem, but the default aircraft does not work either. I have FSUIPC registered version V 4.853, win 7 64 bit, FSX. When returning to FSUIPC, it still says "end macro making" on the button, so the program appears to be in the correct mode. Does not matter if I us the "key presses" or "buttons and switches" tab for macros. Any help would be great. Thanks, Larry (Las Vegas) PS- I use mouse macros on the PMDG 737 only, and never any other aircraft.
