jjstruyf Posted November 13, 2006 Report Posted November 13, 2006 Hello Pete, Yesterday I purchased your Fsuipc + Widefs bundle through Simmarket. I have not received any key for these add-ons. Have you been notified of my purchase by Simmarket? When I log onto my account over there, it says that the transaction went ok. J.J. Jean-Jacques Struyf Braine-L'Alleud Belgium
Pete Dowson Posted November 13, 2006 Report Posted November 13, 2006 Yesterday I purchased your Fsuipc + Widefs bundle through Simmarket. I have not received any key for these add-ons. Did you look at the receipt carefully? These days their operation is completely automated and the information in included in the receipt, not a separate email as it used to be. Pete
jjstruyf Posted November 13, 2006 Author Report Posted November 13, 2006 Yesss! I got fooled because the page that appeared after the transaction said something like I was going to receive an e-mail with the keys. The e-mail I received contained no key, so I was expecting another one with the keys. I finally found the two keys on My Account at Simmarket. Thanks Pete for taking the time to answer me. J.J. Pete Dowson Posted November 13, 2006 Report Posted November 13, 2006 I was going to receive an e-mail with the keys. The e-mail I received contained no key The email contained NO keys? Are you sure? I have a copy here and it has the keysSimMarket have never got it wrong before. It an email about ORDER #: 289373, wasn't it? After the Quantity line, there's three lines for Register Code, with your Name, Email and the two keys. Then the price and shipping cost (0.00 of course). Please take another look! This is very worrying -- an automated system such as the one they are using shouldn't throw out an odd email as you are suggesting. If it can there may be more serious errors. Don't show it here, but if you are sure you cannot see the Keys in the Email, please sent a copy of it to me at petedowson@btconnect.com, so I can take it up with SimMarket. Regards Pete
Thomas Richter Posted November 13, 2006 Report Posted November 13, 2006 Hi Pete The email you get contains NOT the Keys But a LINK to the Keys: ----- When your current Status shows as -Delivered- it means: - Direct Download Items: you can now download your purchases and/or retrieve your registration keys from your account at https://secure.simmarket.com/xxxxxxx ------ You have to follow the link for your Keys. It works OK.
Pete Dowson Posted November 13, 2006 Report Posted November 13, 2006 The email you get contains NOT the Keys But a LINK to the Keys: ... You have to follow the link for your Keys. Oh, right .... shows how much I know. They don't actually TELL me these things! I can get copies of what looks like an emailed receipt including keys. I thought it was the same. Thanks for the clarification! Sorry Jean-Jacques! I'll know for next time! Regards Pete
