Ig Posted April 23, 2007 Report Posted April 23, 2007 Guys, I have an extra analogue axis (usb slider dx with a lever), that I want to use as a reverser control. The procedure I will be using is as follows: the throttle - to IDLE (I have a single one already calibrated properly in FSUIPC for the dead zone), then flip the position of the slider to activate the REVERSER control. Please advise how I can I assign my axis to the Reverser control in the Axis Assignment Tab of FSUIPC 4.09? In the list of the set controls I can't find anything relevant to the reverser. Another idea, which is good but less attractive, is to assign a certain zone of the slider to sending permanently F2 key while in the zone. Is it possible? Many thanks for your answers. Ig.
Pete Dowson Posted April 23, 2007 Report Posted April 23, 2007 Please advise how I can I assign my axis to the Reverser control in the Axis Assignment Tab of FSUIPC 4.09? In the list of the set controls I can't find anything relevant to the reverser. You won't find any reverser in any list of FS controls, because it isn't FS which supports a separate reverser but FSUIPC. Please see the section Assignment of additional controls (Reverser, Aileron and Rudder Trims, and Cowl Flaps) in the FSUIPC4 Advanced Users Guide for details. You need to de-assign the axis altogether in FS assignments and instead Assign it in FSUIPC's Axis Assignments. Select the Send direct to FSUIPC Calibration option checkbox in the Axis Assignments, then choose the Reverser from the drop down controls listed. You then need to go to FSUIPC's axis calibrations, find the reverser and calibrate it. Regards Pete
Dirk98 Posted April 23, 2007 Report Posted April 23, 2007 Thanks, Pete! Sorry, my memory hitches (figured it out myself after I asked). Ig.
