I downloaded and paid for an udated of FSUIPC into the modules folder

but in FSX/add-ons the software is shown as unregistered and am unable to enter the KEY provided even though I booted up as an administrator.

Updated from what version to what version? You don't have to pay for updates from any Version 4 to another Version 4. Can you describe more carefully what you mean, please?

When you say you are "unable" to enter the key, can you tell me what you mean, please. Is something preventing the entry, or what?

Perhaps you should send me your registration details privately, to petedowson@btconnect.com, so I can check them.
