mtjoeng Posted July 24, 2009 Report Posted July 24, 2009 hi was browsing thru the "FSUIPC4 for Advanced Users.pdf" and saw the /delay parameter so I put this in my Feelthere 737 Flaps [Axes.FeelThere Boeing] 7=FY,256/1000,D,23,0,0,0 after, when FSUIPC rewrites the .ini it looked like this [Axes.FeelThere Boeing] 7=/1000 the flaps still work, and with the delay, probably because [Axes] 7=FY,256/1000,D,23,0,0,0 is there is this meant to be? is Default definitions always read together with the Specific and compared (by line number)? (or visaversa) grt m tjoeng
Pete Dowson Posted July 24, 2009 Report Posted July 24, 2009 so I put this in my Feelthere 737 Flaps [Axes.FeelThere Boeing] 7=FY,256/1000,D,23,0,0,0 after, when FSUIPC rewrites the .ini it looked like this [Axes.FeelThere Boeing] 7=/1000 Really? That's weird. I'll take a look at that. Can you tell me the specific version number of FSUIPC please -- especially whether FSUIPC3 or FSUIPC4 so I can test the same one! (I ALWAYS need to be told the version number, always always, please) the flaps still work, and with the delay, probably because[Axes] 7=FY,256/1000,D,23,0,0,0 is there So it doesn't alter that one too? is this meant to be? No. That would be daft. is Default definitions always read together with the Specific and compared (by line number)? (or visaversa) Line numbers are not at all relevant. Assignments made in the aircraft specific section override assignments made in the general section, is all. Pete
mtjoeng Posted July 24, 2009 Author Report Posted July 24, 2009 Can you tell me the specific version number of FSUIPC please -- especially whether FSUIPC3 or FSUIPC4 so I can test the same one! latest 4.522 FSX /SP2 win7 on the box mt
Pete Dowson Posted July 24, 2009 Report Posted July 24, 2009 Can you tell me the specific version number of FSUIPC please -- especially whether FSUIPC3 or FSUIPC4 so I can test the same one! latest 4.522 Okay, I'm looking at it now. Pete
Pete Dowson Posted July 24, 2009 Report Posted July 24, 2009 after, when FSUIPC rewrites the .ini it looked like this[Axes.FeelThere Boeing] 7=/1000 Okay, another elementary error, which has been there for as long as the delay facility has! Fixed in this weekend's updates. Thanks for finding and reporting these. Seems you are the only one being so ambitious with FSUIPC facilities! I'll have to elect you my top Beta tester! ;-) Regards Pete
mtjoeng Posted July 24, 2009 Author Report Posted July 24, 2009 I'll have to elect you my top Beta tester! ;-) Thx for fixing mt
Pete Dowson Posted July 24, 2009 Report Posted July 24, 2009 Thx for fixingmt The updates are available now, in the Announcement. I was going to do something else before release, but I had a look and it isn't easily feasible. Pete
