Thimmie Posted December 22, 2009 Report Posted December 22, 2009 Hi, Ive been unable to connect FScommander to flightsim. I made a post on the fscommander help topics (viewtopic.php?f=155&t=78663) and they tried to help me out, but finally couldn't find a solution. They thought it might be a problem with FSUIPC. Ive updated my FSUIPC to the newest. I've also tried to use UIPCHello, which couldn't find FSUIPC. All the things i've tried and the description of the problem is in this post: viewtopic.php?f=155&t=78663. Please help me out! Thim
JSkorna Posted December 22, 2009 Report Posted December 22, 2009 Thim, What exactly is your version number of FSUIPC? Is it a registered or unregistered copy?

One of the following two circumstances apply: 1. Either or both of FSUIPC and WideFS registration keys are generated by an illegal pirate key generator, or 2. Your PC's system date is incorrect and makes the keys look invalid. Just remove the bad FSUIPC.KEY file from the FS Modules folder and you will find the programs connect without any problems. If you believe that neither of these applies (and as far as I can see there's absolutely no other explanation), please ZIP up your FSUIPC.KEY file, from the FS modules folder, and send it to me at petedowson@btconnect.com. If you had not used a false name and also erased your registered name and email in the Log you posted I could have checked for you. Pete
Thimmie Posted December 23, 2009 Author Report Posted December 23, 2009 Hi pete, I tried removing the key with no succes. I'm not using a pirated version of FSUIPC or WideFS, but i think the problem is in my computer. It's full of junk, so there's probably something blocking some things. FScommander is not the only program that doesn't work. FSnavigator doesn't work and tons of programs for other things. I will be doing a full system reinstallation today or tomorrow, not only to try to solve this, but i also just got my ordered Windows 7 :) Thanks for the help, Thim
Pete Dowson Posted December 23, 2009 Report Posted December 23, 2009 I tried removing the key with no succes. I'd need to see the FSUIPC log for that (after FS is closed), because the one you posted definitely showed that the KEY file was the problem. I'm not using a pirated version of FSUIPC or WideFS There aren't any, only an illegal key generator floating around. FScommander is not the only program that doesn't work. FSnavigator doesn't work and tons of programs for other things. Ah, FSNavigator doesn't use FSUIPC at all in any case. I will be doing a full system reinstallation today or tomorrow, not only to try to solve this, but i also just got my ordered Windows 7 :) Okay. Good luck, then! Regards Pete
