Kelvyn Posted March 17, 2010 Report Posted March 17, 2010 Good morning, I'm currently testing the latest FSUIPC4 version w/ the VSPE app on a x64 environment. I testing things out with the Default Cessna in FSX SP2. I notice that I have to press the Flap toggle x2 in order to get it to either Increment or Decrement. The logs show this but no errors seen that would be pointing out the source of the issue. Hopefully is a bad configuration although the process seem pretty straight forward. Thanks
Pete Dowson Posted March 17, 2010 Report Posted March 17, 2010 I'm currently testing the latest FSUIPC4 version w/ the VSPE app on a x64 environment. But your message says you are using an old version, 4.57! I testing things out with the Default Cessna in FSX SP2. I notice that I have to press the Flap toggle x2 in order to get it to either Increment or Decrement. You shouldn't really reprogram that as it works okay as it is. However, if you do then, as documented, nearly all of the switches and levers need to be programmed to operate both on "press" and "release". FSUIPC cannot detect when they are "pressed" it simply receives a message. The VRI devices don't send "button down" and "button up" messages like normal devices, so FSUIPC treats alternates as "down" and "up". If you only program the "press" it Pete
Kelvyn Posted March 17, 2010 Author Report Posted March 17, 2010 Pete, Thanks... I updated my signature. I knew there was something I was missing to update. Will keep testing away... I take that any functions on the MPanel that work by default can be left as such and just work with the button and/or switches.
