No, of course not. As I said, the file is corrupted, presumably by those "spaces" you mention (are you sure they aren't nulls, i.e. x00, not spaces, x20?).****

You need to delete lines 2= and 5= and make those macros again.

Sorry, but I cannot speculate on how your file has become corrupted. Did FS possibly crash some time? And what version of FSUIPC are you using?

Actually those characters are x01, a non-printable ASCII control character. How they got into your file is unknown, maybe a disk glitch or memory problem?

I have the last version of Fsuipc and FSX crash when accidentally close the log window with fsx run

(i must reenter in fsuipc and stop log window to have also fsx running! :D )

Sorry, but that tells me nothing. What number is the "last version" of FSUIPC? Folks have said this and been using a year-old version! When I ask for a version number I do really mean a number, please!

You should not close the Console Log unless you want to close FS -- it is an FS window and closing it does the same as closing FS. If you use the console log, use the button in FSUIPC's Logging options to open and close it, nothing else. I tried to get windows to remove the title bar buttons in the console log, but it doesn't allow it.

No, Notepad is safe. Don't use Wordpad or any word processor.

I try to reset my configuration and add the macro file of my friend. All buttons was programmed with this new file wihtout problems.

But when i try to switch one buttons in the airplane dont work. do you have an idea of why?

I see that my offsets capture with macro control is different from him.

Yes. You answered this yourself:

I see that my offsets capture with macro control is different from him.

You evidently have a different version of the MD80, not the same, as you thought. The offsets are to code in the Gauges supplied in the add-on aircraft. It those are updated, you must re-make the macros.
