FSX crashes by FSUIPC Button Page

Hello,

i have problems to assign button macros for my vrinsight MCP.

When i call the FSUIPC Button Page to assign a buton to a macro the complete FSX crashes !!

I have recorded a video about this:

Please help, i have only called the FSUIPC Button Tab and then, afetr view seconds the FSX crashes complete.

I have reinstalled FSUIPC and also the FSX, but the same problem.

It looks very much as if you are out of date with your FSUIPC. Please make sure you are using at least 4.60 -- nothing earlier is supported.

According to your video you are not seeing a crash at all, but a hang. There is a world of difference. A hang in the Buttons tab is often caused by a bad joystick driver installed in Windows.

Please tell me the Version number of FSUIPC, and show me both the FSUIPC4.LOG and FSUIPC4.INI files from your FSX Modules folder. Otherwise there is simply not enough information to go on.

sorry but i have only version 4.30 at the moment and yes, it's a hang not a crash, sorry.

I have installed driver for the Saitek X52 Flight Control System.

can this driver making the Problems ??

Is it correct ok if i only kill all tasks or must i complete uninstall the driver?

I cannot possibly support version 4.30! That is over two years out of date! TWO YEARS! Unless you update to at least 4.60 you will not be able to get any support. There's really no excuse for being out of date -- please ALWAYS check before you come to this Forum asking for help!

Please also just occasionally review the Announcements at the top of this Forum!
