Rouslan
Hi Pete, I bought a new PC and have a little problem. My setup is 3 PC's (all win7 64) New PC1 - FS, wideserver PC2 and PC3 are clients. I have tested with 2 client applications "FSMap" and "GAPanel. On the PC 2 in the beginning everything is OK and, unfortunately, a minute later it blocked no more data transfer. Tested on PC 3 everything works OK. I can not explain me why this happens Hir, the log files - In this case, no application launched on PC3: ********* WideServer.DLL Log [version 6.78] ********* Blocksize guide = 4096 (double allowed) Date (dmy): 12/03/11, Time 20:14:20.330: Server name is PC1 64444 Initialising TCP/IP server 64444 Initialising IPX/SPX server 64444 IPX/SPX socket() failed [Error=10044] Socket type not supported 64444 Failed to start IPX/SPX Server 64444 Initialising UDP/IP server 66425 Broadcasting service every 1000 mSecs 68952 Incoming connection Accepted ok (skt=3668) TCP 69233 Connected to computer "PC3" running WideClient version 6.780 (skt=3668) TCP 75099 Incoming connection Accepted ok (skt=3684) TCP 75224 Connected to computer "PC2" running WideClient version 6.780 (skt=3684) TCP 618279 Retried 20 times: sends blocked for over 5 secs! JSkorna
Hi, Looks like your firewall/AV is blocking the communications.
Rouslan
Hi, Looks like your firewall/AV is blocking the communications. Unfortunately not. This was the first thing I thought to myself.
Rouslan
OK I've solved the problem. It was just driver problem on PC2.
Rouslan
The problem has still not gone. It runs a little more time and then blocked again. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Pete Dowson
The problem has still not gone. It runs a little more time and then blocked again. Does anyone have any suggestions? See the errors: 618279 Retried 20 times: sends blocked for over 5 secs! (0 of 1770 sent), Error=10035 (skt=3684) TCP 623474 Retried 20 times: sends blocked for over 5 secs! (0 of 1769 sent), Error=10035 (skt=3684) TCP It is these which indicate something wrong with the connection. These sorts of problems are almost always indicative of a bad cable or network hardware problem. There's a small chance it could be driver or driver settings. If you have the network hardware set to auto-negotiate try setting it to fixed full duplex mode -- or vice versa. Possibly uninstalling the ethernet interface hardware (in the Device manager) and re-installing might help. Or try forcing it to update its driver.
