Boy am I confused about FSUIPC - help

Recommended Posts

Please help me out on this. I have paid/licensed FSUIPC version 4.26 on my computer (Vista 32 with FSX). I am getting new computer next week with FSX and Win 7. Here are three simple questions I have no answers for:

1. Can I re-install FSUIPC on the new computer?

2. If yes, what is needed - I have an ID, passsword and some 12 digit number written down in my FSUIPC notes.

3. Do I need the latest version for FSX and Windows 7 or will 4.26 be OK - but I don't see it offered anymore?

I plan to use the PFC USB yoke, the PFC (serial port throttle)s, and the CH ProductsUSB Pro-pedals

Any advise is greatly appreciated, keep it simple please as I am not too computer literate.

Versin 4.26 is years out of date and completely unsupportable. Where did you get it? The oldest official version for FSX at present is 4.60, soon to be superseded by 4.70. Please update.

Of course. Why on Earth would you think not?

Yes, that, and the 4.60a (or better the 4.638) installer -- see the Download Links subforum.

4.26 is most certainly NOT okay!

Pete
