Andydigital Posted August 11, 2011 Report Share Posted August 11, 2011 Hi Pete, With the release of the PMDG NGX I find myself in the position of needing to add more entries to the AlsoManage settings of the Autosave portion of the FSUIPC4.ini, the problem is according to the documentation there is a limit of 9 entries in this list. I am already using 7 of these slots because of the PMDG MD11 alone, is there any possibility you can increase this number of slots please Pete? For anyone else reading this who isn't sure what to place in the Autosave section of the FSUIPC4.ini this below is what is required to keep the Autosave file quantities down to the number of saves specified in the autosave section of FSUIPC. AlsoManage1=PMDG\PMDG 737 NGX\PanelState\*.FLT.fmc AlsoManage2=PMDG\PMDG 737 NGX\PanelState\*.FLT.sav If you don't include this snippet above and you use Autosave with the NGX you will end up with thousands of orphaned files in the folder PMDG\PMDG 737 NGX\PanelState and they will all show up in the NGX load panel state page in the NGX FMC which is sure to crash it eventually. Only in FSUIPC4 though, not FSUIPC3. Look out for version 4.722 later today.
