muffyman Posted September 12, 2013 Report Posted September 12, 2013 Hi I have just purchased FSUIPC but when I go to register with the activation key I am getting 2 messages the first one says (Your current version of FSIUPC is later! It has not been over written ) when I try to continue by clicking the ok button I get the second message Problem! The signature check fails on the installed FSIUPC4.DLL. Please check that simflight is not listed as an " untrusted publisher" in InternetExplorer (Internet OPtions-Publishers) I have checked and it is not listed as Untrusted I then click the ok button and am presented with the registration I then enter my details and the activation key etc, but it does not accept the registration key I have cut and pasted it to avoided any mistakes and have also typed it in manually and still does not accept it Any help would be greatly appreciated many thanks in advance Regards Ian

Andydigital Posted September 17, 2013 Report Posted September 17, 2013 Pete is away on holiday at the moment, see here. http://forum.simflight.com/topic/75211-pete-dowson-is-away-until-monday-september-23rd/ There are a lot of questions like this on the forum, please use the search facility and you will hopefully be able to find the answers to your questions before Pete returns.
Pete Dowson Posted September 23, 2013 Report Posted September 23, 2013 Hi I have just purchased FSUIPC but when I go to register with the activation key I am getting 2 messages the first one says (Your current version of FSIUPC is later! It has not been over written ) when I try to continue by clicking the ok button I get the second message Problem! The signature check fails on the installed FSIUPC4.DLL. The first is not really as much an error as a safeguard against replacing a newer version with an older one. It's nothing to do with registration in any case. The second proves that you are trying to use an old unsupported version of FSUIPC and Installer, because there has been no signatures on any version of FSUIPC since earlier this year. The current supported versions are 4.92 (for FSX/P3D) and 3.999z8 (for FS9). Pete
hocdaddy Posted September 23, 2013 Report Posted September 23, 2013 Hi, I just sent a question regarding codes, but I also got the same error messages as well. Thanks, hocdaddy

Pete Hi Pete I paid for and purchased your program thru the simflight website so Pete are you telling me that I have purchased a copy from simflight that is out of date and if it is why did simflight direct me thru email to download the version that I did cheers Ian
Pete Dowson Posted September 24, 2013 Report Posted September 24, 2013 Hi Pete I paid for and purchased your program thru the simflight website so Pete are you telling me that I have purchased a copy from simflight that is out of date No. SimFlight do not sell or supply FSUIPC. SimMarket sells the keys. They provide a link to the ZIP for downloading which is hosted here .The software is also downloadable directly from here (in the Download Links subforum) or over in www.schiratti.com/dowson. The link on the SimMarket page is identical to that on the Schiratti "Dowson" page. The versions in all correct places are kept slap bang up to date, and in fact all those links point to ZIP packages i have direct control over. Sorry, but I've not idea where you got an old copy from, but I respectfully suggest you check again. Maybe your internet supplier is caching old files and you need to get that cache cleared. Or go to Download Links and get use the link with the version number built in. Oh, also BTW, your wording suggests that you think you buy a specific version. You do not. You purchase either FSUIPC3 (for FS9) or FSUIPC4 (for FSX or P3D), but ALL versions. You are asked to keep it up to date if you want support because I cannot support old versions. Regards Pete
