Hello,

I was using mouse look (with middle mouse button) always and it was one of my most important features with FSUIPC :)

Yesterday, it suddenly stopped working properly, with one very annoying bug.
Specifically, when I roll over my mouse over a clickspot in any airplane, it just stops the movement until I move the mouse away from the clickspot and then rapidly moves to the other position.

Thanks in advance for help.

Nothing in FSUIPC has changed, and FSUIPC is totally unaware of clickspots, so you'll need to see what change you've made. A new add-on aircraft, perhaps?

Yep, I'm aware that nothing has changed and that's why it's really confusing. It stopped working properly very suddenly, in the middle of a flight.
Now, it sometimes works, sometimes not (but mostly not) and stops working once I restart the flight.
I found that only clickspots which can be triggered by mouse wheel will suffer this issue, but firstly noticed it in the Aerosoft Airbus (whose pretty much every clickspot works with mouse wheel). In the PMDG 737NGX for example, there are only two clickspots which work with the mouse wheel, which are the yoke and HGS projector.

Are you sure that your viewpoint is not inside some of the cockpit geometry, such as the headrest behind you, if you are inside it some of the click spots stop working in the VC. It doesn't stop the mouse view facility working/moving though. Perhaps your description of the problem is not clear.

ok today i installed 4.92+ as i tryeid the other updates as well now i got problems whit the mouse aswell.. before i only had problems if i hold the mouse down and the courser gets over fsinn then by releasing the buton it keept stayeing following the mouse until i pressed the button at a different spot.. now i got this effect from time to time and seems to be triggeret by click spots in any plane. a bit iritating, but what happend? hope there is a solution as it makes me crasy it some times works and other not.. to make it clear i jumped from 4.90 to 4.92

Sorry, but really I don't think this can be anything to do with FSUIPC. In any case, since 4.91, unless you actually enable one of FSUIPC's mouse functions it doesn't even touch the mouse -- except on behalf, perhaps, of Lua plug-ins using the Luamouse library. Maybe you have some such running? There are no such plug-ins supplied with FSUIPC.

The only change between 4.90 and 4.92 in the mouse actions was to avoid re-showing the mouse pointer when it saw it moving. Since 4.91 it only does this if it was previously hidden, not by FSX, but by the added control in FSUIPC to do so. In other words, since 4.91 FSUIPC does LESS with the mouse, not more! (Unless you are using the hide mouse control for some reason).

well it is the mouse look i have used all the time.. i just got back to 4.90 version and things works as before.. no it´s clean FSUIPC i have no Lua plug-ins anymore.

Im not sure im quite understand the changse from 4.90-92...

so what the changse caused here is it for some reason makes trouble when i pessed the middel mouse button as long as i want to look around but by releasing the button if it´s over a click spot it keeps using my mouse to look around only if i am 100% sure it´s outside a click spot it stops following the mouse.

Here is what I found:
Load the flight, most of the things don't load as they should, aircraft is buggy (unless for the complex addon aircraft like PMDG which have their own loading process), and this weird thing happens with mouse look.
Restart the same flight, everything loads perfectly and mouse look works exactly as it should. It happens with every flight I load.

i dont know what you are refering to.. some add-on developers advise you to run a start up file by flight1. but that dosent help here.. eventualy many say use it but in fact i tryeid severa times both now and before but makes no difference.

In other words i never seen it helps on any add-on and wounder why some say it works for there add-ons as i cant se a difference and think whats so special about that start up process by loading a flight and then select the stuf you want.

to me it sounds like windows block some of the stuff some how but i always run as adminstrator..

But the short storry is that so far i just stay whit .90 for now that works.. hope we some how find what cause the problem.. as i have no lua or such running and just switching form 90 to 92 gives the strange problem whit the mouse look

Hi .....

In my case I've just found that LINDA was causing the problem when it was loading together FSX. This problem appeared after windows 8.1 update. Now i'm initializing LINDA after FSX...into the simulation itself. I'm using FSUIPC 4.921i. I'm not using FSUIPC Mouse Look.

I hope that can helps someone else..

Sorry, that last part confuses me. "version 4.90 as it was the last version i had that worked and upgrade it all the way to 4927b it seems to work". are you saying 4.927b works for you once you installed 4.90 then updated? Because that makes no sense unless you mean you also deleted your settings (INI file) and started again, in which case it was something to do with your settings.

If I only install FSUIPC4 4.927a it would work neither when upgrading to 4.927b afterwards.. there i have the problem..

Since all you change when you install FSUIPC is the DLL, it makes no difference whatsoever what version it is replacing. On the other hand if you are deleting the INI file, so erasing all your settings, then obviously it is related to those, and nothing whatsoever to do with installing in any specific order.

So thats why i asked what could cause the problem from 4.90 to 4.927a that´s the latest version on the page..

Version 4.927 etc isno longer supported -- 4.928 is the current version. It was released a week ago.

About settings well I tryeid to look at the files (INI files) when I first got the problem.. now i attach the INI i curent got that works perhaps you can spot what i diden´t..

If this INI file works for you as you say, why post it here?

Please update to 4.928 before posting again.

Pete
