Under FSUIPC (registered) 4.90 (downloaded 5/13/13) had no problems loading WX from either SquawkBox4 or FSrealWXlite. Decided to upgrade to AS NEXT and installed FSUIPC 4.928 first as suggested. Now FSX crashes with AS NEXT after about 10-15 min (I think when AS tries to update although initial load seems OK). Neither SquawkBox4 or FSrealWXlite seem to be able to connect to FSX at all. FSrealWXlite just sits there "waiting for FS" and SquawkBox4 says "weather updated" but nothing actually loads in FSX. Any ideas? Thanks much I don't know about FSRealWXlite, but certainly neither Squawkbox4 nor ASN use FSUIPC for Weather setting. The only reason you needed to update FSUIPC for ASN is that previous versions of FSUIPC had an incompatibility with how ASN performs its own wind smoothing and other effects, which caused certain other programs to be unable to do their own smoothing. It didn't cause crashes or prevent any weather setting activity. Sorry, I can't really help with problems with other folks programs. Pete Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

FWIW to anybody based on very limited (1 1/2 hr) testing I seem to be able to aviod the AS Next crashes by not loading a flight plan into AS Next . . . . so far it seems to be happy if it doesn't know where I'm going ;-) Separately; Peter I've been flightsimming since FS1 and FSUIPC 1.0 - Just want to say thanks for everything you have done!
