FSUIPC Not Working

Hi,

I am expieriencing a problem with FSUIPC. I fly on FSX for VirtualUnited, so I need to use FSUIPC to track/log my flights. Recently, I have wanted to fly a flight.To start, I click add-ons,new log, and then click begin flight on the ACARS for the airline. Usually the tracking starts and I resume my flight. However, now it automatically says that my plane is "pushing back", where in reality it is sitting at the gate with the engines off and parking brake set. The ACARS also stops responding. At first I thought it was a problem with the ACARS, so i reinstalled that and it did not help. Then i unistalled FSUIPC and redownloaded it. It still did not help and actually made the situation worse. For some reason, Before this, even though I never registered FSUIPC (got free version) but it never asked for a registration key. Now when i downloaded it (same site) it asks for a registration key, and if i say "Not Now", during the flight it says that I do not have the full version and that some features may not work. Is my problem occurring because of this? If so, how do I fix it. I have also tried to reinstall the SP1 and SP2 packages. I am not the best with computers so I'm really not sure what else to do. I would really like to fly soon, and I cant without FSUIPC. Please help me!

Again I'm confused because I downloaded this before (never paid for it, and I'm not planning to) and it worked. I also never recall having to register. I'm just unsure what the problem is. Hope someone can help me so I can get back to flying.

All versions of FSUIPC4 have always provided the registration option in the Installer. Only early versions of FSUIPC3 (for FS9) had registration done inside FS.

There is no such message from FSUIPC -- that must be from the application you are using.

If the application program you are using says it needs a Registered version of FSUIPC, then you fix it by purchasing a Key and registering.

As Luke says, the log shows that everything is good as far as FSUIPC is concerned. The folks who may know why your ACARS program isn't working will be their support. Maybe they changed it in some way so it now needs a registered FSUIPC?
