Landing Gear causes View Change

Recommended Posts

HI,

I am using FSUIPC to select gear up and down.  No matter the aircraft, when I select Gear Up, the view changes to an outside view directly behind the aircraft.  Gear Down is OK. The behavior is consitent with both Ezdok and OPUS.  I am currently using Ezdok.

I am running 4.92 and use a PFC throttle quadrant.

I hope this is the correct forum for this problem.

Any ideas?

Brad

Not quite... You've posted in the "downloads" sub-forum. I'll move your post up to Support.

Have you checked that the same button isn't allocated to the change view function inside the sim's settings themselves? That's the most common cause of problems like this.

Cheers,

Ian P.

You most certainly have another assignment to the same button, maybe in FSUIPC but more likely in FS, Ezdok and/or Opus.

If you enable Button and Event logging in FSUIPC then operate the control and check the FSUIPC4.LOG file you will see the two controls being sent from the one button press. If you like, paste the log into a message here and I will explain it to you.
