Pete Dowson Posted September 12, 2014 Report Posted September 12, 2014 I moved this out of the FAQ subforum, where it won't be answered, to the correct place, the Support Forum. Please post questions here. I cleaned up my computer, and I am attempting to reinstall Fsuipc4 and wide angle, I can't get to the area where the key /registration and set up file is located Help Please What's "wideangle"? Do you mean WideFS (which is my program) or WidevieW, which isn't? What do you mean by "the area"? Do you mean on your PC, or on the Web? Have you lost your registration? If so you need to go to your account at Simmarket to retrieve it. FSUIPC and WideFS are both available from the usual sites -- www.schiratti.com/dowson, where it has been now for 15 years, and also in the Download Links subforum above. Next time you £clean up" your computer, I suggest you make some backups first! ;-) Pete
John Pettit Posted October 29, 2014 Report Posted October 29, 2014 Hi Pete, having successfully used FSUIPC since 2009 I have had to re-install as well. I did a clean install of FSX (Gold + Acceleration Pack) as well as FSUIPC. I have tried to re-register under my new e-mail address (which has been registered with simMarket) but I get the message that my Key is not a recognised key. My key is actually 12 characters long, a mix of numbers and letters (all in upper case). The key is the one I have always used and checks out at simMarket (under my purchase history), too. Any help much appreciated.

Use the same email and name which is intimately associated with that key. The email does NOT have to be up to date, it was and is only used as further identification, to make them truly unique (which cannot be guaranteed with name alone). You'd have to purchase a new key if you really wanted to register with a different email address or name. Registrations don't expire no matter how many new versions I work on and release. but obviously, since they are made based on your original purchase details, they won't be valid when associated with different identification. Pete
John Pettit Posted October 29, 2014 Report Posted October 29, 2014 Thanks Pete - I was in the middle of writing that I had found that out!
