Ken Hanawa Posted September 25, 2014 Report Posted September 25, 2014 Hi, I use FS9 with Instructor Station which product of Project Magenta. Today I was caught in the trouble. When I launch the "PM Filecheck" (it is a application of Project Magenta) and check files which are used for FS9, WideFS and FSUIPC and many other things, finally error message appear. The error message is like this..."Check FSUIPC Installation (FSUIPC Version is 0) ". But I am sure that I exactly installed the latest FSUIPC. And then, Instructor station could not indicate the position of aircraft on the FS9. I think FSUIPC (or WideFS) do not send position datas. But many command to FS9 from Instructor Station are work well. I could not come up with any other sollutions. If anyone has ideas about this problem, please help me.
Thomas Richter Posted September 25, 2014 Report Posted September 25, 2014 Hi, - for pmFileCheck, you might not use latest version of it. That error has been in it couple times but is NOT related to FSUIPC / WideClient. - for pmInstructor, if I remember correct it was as well an error but solved from PM. You should contact PM support about that.

But many command to FS9 from Instructor Station are work well. Version 0 being reported simply means the program could not read the correct data. Zero data is supplied when there is something wrong, such as a bad registration or a date inconsistency. Please after such an attempt, close everything down and then find the log files -- FSUIPC.LOG and WideServer.log in the FS Modules folder, and WideClient.log in the same folder as WideClient, and paste their contents into a message here. Use the <> button above the edit area for the message to enclose the texts. Pete
