extending aircraft specific settings all aircraft of same type

Dear forum members,

So far, I understand that aircraft specific settings are tied to the "title=" line which has to be unique.

 

Is there a way to extend all aircraft specific settings to all aircraft of the same ui_type?

 

This would avoid labour and would help to reduce the size of the FSUIPC.

Yup!

Look up "ShortAircraftNameOk" in the manual, which is in your /modules/FSUIPC Documents folder.

And, in addition to what Ian says, consider using Profiles instead of "Aircraft Specific". (Profiles are actually the default in all recent versions of FSUIPC -- you actually have to change a parameter to revert to "aircraft specific").
