DaveM Posted December 30, 2014 Report Posted December 30, 2014 Hi Pete, I have downloaded the latest copy of FSUIPC SDK and checked the Offset values document for the latest list of expected values when testing for which version of Flightsim is running. Is there any later version number than 10, for P3D, as we are having some trouble with FSX SE. We are pretty sure that there must be a new ID number for this version as our client is rejecting FSX SE. I'm downloading and installing FSX Se as I write this  so that I can do some testing. But if you have an up to date list easily available it would be much appreciated. regards, and Happy New Year. Dave
Thomas Richter Posted December 30, 2014 Report Posted December 30, 2014 Hi, the SDK is not the place to look for actual Offset status. The place to look at is \Moduls\FSUIPC Documents\ There you will find the latest FSUIPC4 Offsets Status.pdf that was installed with the latest Full Installation you did.
herve_sors Posted January 1, 2015 Report Posted January 1, 2015 We are pretty sure that there must be a new ID number for this version as our client is rejecting FSX SE I don't think so. My applications still report FS version=9 (that for this purpose must be considered as a FSX version) from users under FSX-SE (with FSUIPC version 4938.0001). If you just checked for Ver=8, that's the reason Otherwise, there might be many other causes of incompatibility (especially if you make access to the cfg file depending on side by side or replacement installation). Some more information here regarding that http://www.fsdeveloper.com/forum/threads/fsx-on-steam-compatibility.432460/#post-694920 Pete recently provided an offset for P3D version number, may be he could do the same for the different versions of FSX although you can also do it by yourself from build number of the exe file (that's easy considering FSUIPC will provide you the sim category (FS9, FSX or P3D) and the sim path so that you just have to retrieve the corresponding exe version data Best regards

Yes, sorry -- it was an error in 4.938a! I've just found it. FSX-SE took the place of ESP in my tables, so it got into 3308 as 9. I'll fix it and put 4.938b up iin the Download Links subforum later today. Pete

Pete Dowson Posted January 21, 2015 Report Posted January 21, 2015 The FSX-SE will be regarded as 8 - FSX? Yes, another version of FSX, just like FSX-RTM, FSX-SP1, FSX-SP2, FSX-ACC. Do you need further resolution? I could indicate the more detailed version level in another offset, same as I do for P3D 1.1-2.4. So far there's been FSX-SE1 and FSX-SE2 (builds 62607 and 62608). Pete
