Hi Pete,

 

after i have install FSUIPC 4.939m my vrinsight MCP Combo dont work with linda 2.6.3.

The knobs are not working. I have no funktions.    (Windows 7 64, FSX)

 

Version 4.939k and all older Versions are  works with no Problems.

I'm afraid I don't know Linda, but the change between the 'k' and 'm' releases is very minor indeed and really cannot affect  every single assignment.

 

Perhaps you can show me the FSUIPC4 log file, from the modules folder?

It s  working only with fsuipc.

 

i do not understand why the Version (m) will not work.

Before i install a new Version i copy the modules file for security.

The old modules file is working perfect. (k)

 

Should I delete all files of FSUIPC and then reinstall .....

Yes, I know of Linda, I just do not know it -- I cannot debug it for you. Since I've not knowingly made any change between version 4.939k and 4.939m which would affect any programs adversely, there is no way I can sort out what the problem is without information -- and probably details of the exact problem from someone who knows Linda.

No, nor do I. I have no information, you have supplied none. I did suggest that you show me the Log file, which may or may not help. Do you have access to help for Linda? Maybe they have a Forum where you can ask someone to work out what is wrong and, if it still points to FSUIPC, to let me know so I can help fix it.

No. I don't see any point in doing that -- unless you've been changing them of course. Updating FSUIPC with the Installer only replaces the program, it doesn't change any ofyour settings.

No one has helped me nail down the reason for the problems with Linda and 4.939m, seeming to have preferred just to retreat to an older, unsupported and never to be developed version. :-(

Hi Pete!

 

I am using the full version of 4393m and have the same problems with Linda an the vrinsight MCP.
Is the "n" version "the solution" or can i be of any help to help you nail it down?

Hi Pete,

 

I can confirm that 4.939n works perfectly. I had the same issue as mentioned with 4.939m, but the new module worked flawlessly on a flight earlier today from EGLL to LEPA.
