A Mysterious Error Msg

Out of nowhere the attached message started appearing on FSX load.

 

I'm sure it would mean something to you but if you need more info from me to diagnose please let me know.

Hi,

 

just press 'Yes' and it will load next time without the MSG. It happens any time you update FSUIPC because the signature is removed some time ago.

Thanks for the reply and apologies for not having responded sooner.  My problem is that when I tick "Yes" I get an FSX Fatal Error every time.

That's not the error details. Before you go farther, you will want to update to the latest version. Pete won't be able to help you with any error details until you do.

 

If you still get the message, I'd be curious to see the FSUIPC.LOG file.

oops just what I was about to suggest ....

 

the latest version is  4.939u, according to the official website  http://www.schiratti.com/dowson.html

Why not try the later version then see if the problem continues, also run the FSUIPC installer using - run as administrator -
