FSUIPC not able to connect to Joystick

Flightsim. FSX

Systems. Win 10

Joystick: Saitek Rhino (Driver Win 10)

Fsuipc. Newest Version 

 

Hi,

 

maybe someone can help me out.

FSX is working fine.

Joystick is working fine.

Problem is fsuipc is not able to find the joystick.

You can push any button fsuipc stays blank.

 

Any idea.

Please never say that. All versions have numbers. The 'newest' is 4.944a. Check. Folks have been known to say "latest" or "newest" and really meant "the last one I noticed" and have been a year or more out of date.

 

Nevertheless, whatever version:

 

Joystick is working fine.

Problem is fsuipc is not able to find the joystick.

You can push any button fsuipc stays blank.

 

Assuming FSX sees the buttons (does it? You don't say), the most likely problem is an installation error by the Saitek driver. The registry entry assigning an ID is omitted. FSUIPC relies on the Windows Joystick ID (a number from 0 to 15) in order to read it.
