Spoiler Arm Problem

Recommended Posts

Hi Pete!

First I want to thank you for this awesome program. :)

How come I haven't heard about it fron two years of playing FSX and installed it just about a week ago XD

Okay, here is my problem on default FSX aircraft:

- When I press Shift + / button, my spoilers come to extended position instead of Armed position.

- Button / works normally as spoilers extend & retract.

- When the spoilers are 0%, I can slowly increase it, but when it comes to about 29% (which is the armed-spoiler value) it suddenly got to 100% on a single mouse scroll.

- When the spoilers are 100%, I can't reduce it using mouse scroll.

- I've tried to delete my default key config and use FSUIPC keybinding but got same result.

Here's my key setup on INI file. Some of them are belong to NpC (lua files that make me able to input COM, NAV, HDG etc using numpad). I believe NpC doesn't related to this spoiler problem (not sure, just from a glance of some lua files).

Do I need to give you my console log? How should I setup my log so that it's easier for you to inspect?
Thank you!

It sounds like you are on the ground at the time. That is normal in FS -- being on the ground triggers the ground spoiler action if the spoilers are armed. Test it in the air, not on the ground!

The rest of the post is about the same question I think.
