Jim Allen
This is problem I have had intermittently over the years - both with Win 7 and now Win 10 using FSX. When I select "Select for FS Control" (little white square), the drop down selection box opens but won't stay open. Sometimes it opens for a couple of seconds and other times maybe 5 or 6 seconds then closes. It won't stay open long enough to scroll down to make an assignment . Other times it stays open as it should and I can make a selection. Sometimes it will go a long time and work properly while other times (like now) it doesn't. Am using the latest version of FSUIPC. Thanks for any help. Jim

Thanks for any help. FSUIPC uses standard Windows functions for this, and actually has no direct control over when or whether drop downs are open or not. I suspect another add-on is doing something in the background which might temporarily change focus. I think if focus is diverted from a drop down it does close. In fact, apart from making an actual selection I think that's the only thing that does do this. You could also try temporarily running FS in Windowed mode to see if that makes any difference. If it does it may be related to some video or video driver setting. Pete
Jim Allen
Hi Pete, Thanks for the advice. I'll try it in windowed mode and investigate further. Jim
