P3D 3.2 - End Scenario Message Screen

Recommended Posts

Hello,

if I disable FSUIPC I get this message screen when I hit ESC:

QD1aSis.png

If FSUIPC is enabled, I get this (reduced) one:

uT9ivmW.png

Can someone tell me please if there's a kind of setting (in FSUIPC?) to get the more detailled one?

Many thanks!

I just get the former one. Sounds like you have something else also processing ESCape, maybe via FSUIPC. FSUIPC doesn't. It isn't aware of what you are doing till it gets a notification that it should close down.

Whenever asking for FSUIPC support, please state the FSUIPC version nmber and paste the relevant FSUIPC4.LOG file from the Modules folder.

Pete

Hello,

I checked controls and ESC is assigned via the normal P3D menu to end scenario and there's no assignment in FSUIPC (even not possible)

The log is

So, it is 100% reproduceable:

FSUIPC enabled: short scenario end menu

FSUIPC disabled (via DLL.xml) results in the longer scenario menu

(Or, to be more precice: the longer scenario end menu is BEFORE the short one, so with FSUIPC enabled, the long one is supressed.

It really cannot be FSUIPC. If it occurs with FSUIPC but not without it will be because of something using FSUIPC. To start with I see you use LINDA. Try without that to start with.

Also I see that EZCA is only loaded when FSUIPC is running, so try without that too. And try EZCA separately.

You are making the mistake of narrowing this down to FSUIPC without considering everything else you have going on. Check all those other things, as I am telling you that there is no way FSUIPC alone can produce the effect you see.

But that is not actually true. You might not be able to do it in the Dialogue, but an erroneous entry in the INI could do it, and it can be done by third party add-ons. Also it isn't necessarily the assignment of ESC to a control which does it, but assignment of anything to a keystroke.

Aaahhh, you where right ( as always ;) )

the FSUIPC interface haven't shown me an ssignment for ESC, but now I had the idea to search my FSUIPC.ini for the number "27" and found indeed an assignment I made years ago. I always copy over the important parts with every new installtion.

ok, thanks for pointing me in the right direction!
