KH320Capt
Hi, bought registered copy and installed. Alas, no add-on option showing in FSX (steam). Prepar3d never installed as lockheed changed the directory to have a space between "Lockheed" and "Martin" and the log file shows it searching for a path with "LockheedMartin". Regardless, I have tried to read some of the posts and I am not having any success. BTW... when I first installed it, FSX was crashing until I added FSUIPC_Loader.dll Not making any progress on getting it working (install to Prepar3d and not showing add-on in FSX) Help! First versions: FSX steam edition 10.0.62615.0 Prepar3d vc 3.3.5.17625 (Simconnect 3104125) 1. The Lockheed Martin thing caused a different registry path entry to the installer did not find it so I hope you can help with that. 2. I am thinking the problem with FSX Steam is also a path thing. I included the dll.xml file below that is in the USERS > MYNAME > APPDATA > ROAMING > MICROSOFT > FSX folder but a search on dll.xml located a file in Steam\steamapps\common\FSX\ConfigData\appdata which was not modified to start FSUIPC4 Is it the cause of the problem? I will include this as a copy of that file renamed Steam_dll.xml in case it helps. Thanks. Log files attached. Thanks for your help! KH320Capt
Thanks. Odd that I got the old one from the official site... What is current, and where can I find it please. Thanks.
KH320Capt
Never Mind... I guess when I went to the site when you purchase it they sent an old file. I see the link about where I bought the registered copy with the right version. Trying to download now. Guess this means I have to remove everything first??? Or can I re-run installer without deleting modules folder and such?

No. The Installer searches for ALL versions of P3D, so it looks for both! You aren't reading the Install log correctly. 17 hours ago, KH320Capt said: My FSUIPC file is labled as 4.8.5.3 and this was donwloaded from the official site where I bought the license. Well, 4.853 doesn't support P3D version 3 at all! It is very old. There are no files on the site where the license is purchased, there's only a link to the Schiratti site where there's a link to my files here, and they are most certainly up do date! 16 hours ago, KH320Capt said: Or can I re-run installer without deleting modules folder and such? Just re-run the installer. Pete
