Hardware question

I don't think it matters much as long as the headset has a boom mike for convenience. I have used a Plantronics one that I paid about $30 Aust. for. The ear foams failed and can't be replaced. I then used a AUD 9.00 unit from the local supermarket that I used for Skype when overseas and it works fine. In my opinion you don't need to spend a lot of money for a headset. Both mine are the type with jack plugs on the end & plug into the sound card. The hardest bit is to get the speech to come out of the headset and the engine noise to come out of the speakers. That is another subject. Try a cheapy & see how you go.
