Strange find in Prepar3D entry in registry

Recommended Posts

When I try to start Prepar3D 3.4.18.19475 I get a "fatal error" and the sim shuts down.
Found a strange entry in my registry at:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\Layers

xlLWZ0k.jpg

The FSUIPC4.log shows no error:

When I correct the entry in the registry Prepar3D starts without a problem.
After some flights the strange registry entry shows up again.

The FSUIPC Installer automatically deletes those entries, which are caused by a crash on exit from P3D which you may not have noticed.

This was all fixed in 4.962 which is the only currently supported version, so please update!
