FSUIPC4 registration problem

Hello,

I've had a registered FSUIPC4 version 4.939 with fsx-se, and I've used it for a quite a long time, until now. FSUIPC says that it's an unregistered version. I've checked that fsuipc4.key file is in the modules folder.

I tried reinstalling FSUIPC4, but it said that the version of FSX was latter than the latest it knows, and suggested downloading a new version of FSUIPC. So I downloaded FSUIPC4 version 4.955, and tried to install it. But it doesn't recognise the key, and keeps saying it's an unregistered version. Furthermore, I have lost the FSUIPC4.REG file, and all the configurations I had previously made for the different airplanes. Now I can't use the simulator, and I'm affraid I will have to set it all again.

How can I get my registered FSUIPC work?

Hi,

first make sure the PC date is the current one and second please install the latest FSUIPC4966c version.

I've installed the version suggested, but it says the same. When I choose to check registration is says "No FSUIPC entry to check

.

So the Installer you were using pre-dated the version (4.939 -- which is very VERY old itself!) you were actually using!

Sounds like you have your filing system in a bit of a mess!

And how long ago did you download that? If just, where on Earth did you get it from, because that is very old and unsupported too, and not available from any official source!

The Installer NEVER EVER deletes anything! You must have done that yourself! You'll want to get those files (FSUIPC.KEY, not REG, and FSUIPC4.INI) from your backup if you deleted them by mistake!

Well of course there isn't one to check! You deleted it! You have to enter the details again if you can't find a backup copy of FSUIPC4.KEY.
