motormouse Posted July 20, 2017 Report Posted July 20, 2017 I recently installed and re-registered FSUIPC3.999z9b ; however the freeware programs and gauges that previously worked OK with version 3.44 (I know ..OLD) now no longer work; checking the key file ; they are no longer listed under the 'programs section. In no particular order what has gone missing from key file and no longer work are: RWY12 Object placer Doug Dawson and Rob Barendregt's gauges ADE9x Object placer Anyone know how I can restore these to functionality? Thankyou
Pete Dowson Posted July 20, 2017 Report Posted July 20, 2017 Application programs have not needed keys for many years. The FSUIPC.KEY file is only for your user registrations, for FSUIPC and WIDEFS.
KentDahlgren Posted December 7, 2022 Report Posted December 7, 2022 Hi, I have just installed LINDA 4.1.5 and FSUIPC7. Get message in LINDA reading "Som FSUIPC files are missing". Cannot find any information of what files that might be, but I can see there is no FSUIPC.KEY in the FSUIPC7 directory. Is this a problem. I am planning to buy MCP Combo II - Boeing MCP. Want to test the sotware first.
John Dowson Posted December 8, 2022 Report Posted December 8, 2022 Yes, you will need a registered copy of FSUIPC to use LINDA, as the Lua facilities are only available in the registered version. There is a trial license available in the FSUIPC7 sub-forum, where you should post all questions/support request for FSUIPC7, not here. See John

For MSFS2020, you need FSUIPC7. If using FSX, then you only need FSUIPC4.
