Hi there,

I have some problems with night textures. The doors are showing up lighter then the rest of the plane (looks like the "moving" parts are showing the day textures instead of night). Ive been tweaking and painting all kinds of documents to see if it will disappear, but I cant get it fixed. Please help, cause its starts to really irritate me while flying nights.

Regards,

Sven

Hello Ariel,

The problem is with the E190 and the E195.

At the E190 the AFT Entry Door is lighter during night then the FWD Entry Door. This is due to the Emmisive Mode for file: "190_FUS_3_T.dds" used in your .MDL file for the AFT Door. Its set to AdditiveUserControlled, but should be at MultiplyBlend so it wont be lighter then the rest.

The exact same problem applies to the E195 .MDL file, but then with all doors and some other parts. So it has nothing to do with textures, but with the model.

Regards,

Sven

Hello Ariel,

I managed to solve it myself by tweaking the .MDL files. So now all is fine. I can share this tweak for other members if you'd like? I have read more about this on other forums aswell. So maiby offering this to other users might be a good thing?

Regards,

Sven

Ariel,

I modified the .MDL files of the aircrafts involved. At the E190 the AFT Entry Door is lighter during night then the FWD Entry Door. This was due to the Emmisive Mode for file: "190_FUS_3_T.dds" used in your .MDL file for the AFT Door. Its set to AdditiveUserControlled, but should be at MultiplyBlend so it wont be lighter then the rest. I changed this also on the E195 file.

Now it all works fine!

Regards,

Sven
