SimConnect connection cannot be established.

I've recently purchased and downloaded FSUIPC4 for use with FSX, however whenever I launch the application, I keep getting an error message saying. 'SimConnect connection cannot be established'.

I have carefully followed the instructions for installation and cannot understand why I keep getting this message? I have installed SimConnect, so it's on my system and installed in the correct place.

Could anyone help please?

first thing to show would be the actual FSUIPC4 installation log file, attached or pasted in the message.
