Jorgos Posted November 8, 2020 Report Share Posted November 8, 2020 hello, after a new install ( I'll take the FSUIPC from my acronis safety, Path now is : F:\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Modules now my ini shows the old Soundcard : [Sounds] Path=F:\FSX\Sound\ Device1=Primärer Soundtreiber Device2=Lautsprecher (Sound Blaster Audigy Fx) Maybe a new install fix it ? best regards Jorgos Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Or are you talking about a new PC or a new install of Windows? FSUIPC makes the [Sounds] list by scanning the Registry for registered sound cards. The INI is set accordingly. If the list it produces does not match what you actually have, then the new card(s) are not installed properly and the registry still shows the old ones. Try looking at the Device manage in Windows Settings and see what it lists. The [Sounds] entries are only used by the facilities included in FSUIPC to play sound wave files. Are you using such an add-on, or perhaps a Lua plug-in? If not then what FSUIPC sees sound-wise doesn't really affect anything -- the entries aren't actually used.
